Our atmosphere has to power to totally change the way we think, feel, and live. Taking the time to influence your surrounding that make you comfortable and happy is needed for the health of your home. Below are few tips and tricks for keeping a warm and peaceful home.

The placement of flowers in the home increases emotions, feelings, and positive social behavior. A behavioral research study conducted by Nancy Etcoff, Ph.D., of Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School states, “As a psychologist, I’m particularly intrigued to find that people who live with flowers report fewer episodes of anxiety and depressed feelings,” Etcoff says. “Our results suggest that flowers have a positive impact on our well-being.”

Clear the clutter. Stuff is called stuff for a reason, it doesn’t have any rhyme or reason. Now this does not mean you need a perfectly minimal and crystal clean home, but too much clutter can add stress to your life. Declutter your home, and declutter your mind!

A house with colors you love is a home. Just like a cluttered home, a home with too much explosive colors can be stressful and overwhelming. However, with neutral, soothing colors your home will take on a peaceful and warm atmosphere that invites you to relax by the end of the day.
