Novoe Tushino Is a Minimalist Contemporary Apartment in Moscow
Working with 71-square-meters of space, Geometrium designed the contemporary Novoe Tushino apartment in Moscow for a single man working in the tech world. Their main requirements were to separate the personal and public spaces, not to make any of the rooms square, and to not use furniture with sharp corners.
The public space of the apartment includes an entry hallway, guest bathroom, living room, kitchen, and laundry room, all easily accessed without disturbing the private area.
The apartment was designed with a warm color palette of black, white, and wooden tones that result in a minimalist feel.
Sliding translucent panels reveal a workspace behind one set of doors and a seating spot for tea behind the other.
Throughout the apartment, they incorporated lines of built-in lighting that’s set at various angles.
