Finding Balance with Brizo’s Kintsu Bath Collection
The Kintsu Bath Collection by Brizo pulls from both Scandinavian and Japanese influences through sleek contours and broken lines. Kintsu, taken from the word “kintsugi” and the word for a Japanese method of joining together pieces of cracked pottery with gold, brings together aesthetics in the Japandi style.
“The bath should be the destination where one finds balance,” said Seth Fritz, Brizo industrial designer. “The Kintsu Bath Collection represents the perfect blend of design influences to create a unique and splendid interplay of Scandinavian and Japanese inspiration, offering a level of customization inspired by natural materials that will ensure each individual finds their own exquisite equilibrium.”
Kintsu celebrates imperfections. For example, the Single-Handle Lavatory Faucet’s clean lines are interrupted when the faucet is turned on and off. The collection brings a reverence for natural materials and the importance of expression through its five Knob Handle options: Mother of Pearl, Concrete, Teak, All-Metal, and a custom option that allows unique inlays. The series shares Brizo’s complex new Brilliance Black Onyx finish, and is also available in Brilliance Luxe Gold, Brilliance Luxe Nickel, and Polished Chrome finishes.
The Kintsu Bath Collection will be available this coming Fall, featuring a variety of elevated components from the Multi-Function Handshower that features a pivoting spray face, to the Multi-Function Wall Mount Showerhead, and the new Raincan Showerhead – both with two unique spray patterns for extra luxury.
